ASBIS have been selected as Top 5 distributors for four successive years and nominated for the ‘EMEA Channel Academy: 2012 Awards’ in two largest regions of company’ operations.

Hundreds of senior vendor executives with EMEA channel knowledge nominated their preferred distribution partners across 10 sub-regions. In each category, the top five distributors received official nominations and go forward to the final live electronic vote, which takes place at a Gala Dinner in Monaco on February 9th 2012, held in conjunction with DISTREE EMEA. Vendors selected distributors based on a number of criteria including sales growth, channel breadth, credit facilities, financing, stock management, logistics, market development and channel engagement. During the Gala Dinner on February 9th, senior vendor executives will take part in a live electronic vote to determine an overall winner in each category.

“The nominated distributors are leading players within the regions they have been chosen for and should be proud of their recognition,” commented Farouk Hemraj, CEO at DISTREE Events. “We are delighted that the Gala Dinner for the ‘EMEA Channel Academy: 2012 Awards’ is once again being held as part of the DISTREE EMEA conference programme. We look forward to welcoming representatives from all nominated distributors to this prestigious occasion.”
